Parenting

Newcastle has lot of activities and support, whether you're a first-time carer or practiced parent. Visit our things to do page to find out what is on offer in your local area.

We know that parenting is a big responsibility so here are a few bits of advice to keep you going:

  • You’re allowed to celebrate the little wins. Perfection is unrealistic… progress is just fine!
  • Don’t feel like you’re alone facing the challenges. If you can’t shake the feeling, seek out a community who can put you right (the Directory is a great place to start).
  • It’s OK to ask for help if things get hard.

You are always welcome at our family hubs. Click the button below to find your nearest hub.
