Bright Minds Nursery @ Kenton School has a vibrant atmosphere, a child directed environment and a huge range of activities that children can choose to play. Children are happy and have a say in the way in which the setting is run. 

We provide a wide range of activities, giving children opportunities to explore and develop skills using both indoor and outdoor environments.  We are a well equipped nursery that offers children scope and space to become independent while enjoying the knowledge that they are safe, valued and listened to.

We cater for children 0-5 years. We follow the EYFS curriculum which is a mix of child initiated and adult led activities. We provide a wide variety of activities to cater for each child’s individual needs. We place a large emphasis on outdoor play and the children can access all areas of the curriculum both outside and in. Examples of activities are all kinds of creative and messy play, water, sand gardening, cooking.

Childsplay Nursery was established in 1982 as a "not for profit" cooperative and has been working alongside families successfully ever since. 

Happy children from just 6 weeks to 5 years learn and develop at Church View Day Nursery. Working within the 'Early Years Foundation Stage' framework we encourage children to initiate their own activities, making decisions and choices for themselves.

Free Spirits is a purpose built modular building that is set within the grounds of Freeman Hospital. We have excellent facilities including 6 spacious rooms two garden/ play areas.

Heaton Community Centre is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation. We offer full day care places, a Nursery, an Out of School Club with Holiday Play Scheme, Onsite and Offsite Crèche Services.

Heaton Nursery is a private registered day nursery school, which has been established since 1970 and caters for children from birth to 11 years.

Our nursery has been designed to provide a wonderful, child-friend environment with rooms split depending on age group and stage of development. Each room has direct access to large, well-equipped and challenging gardens which have been designed to suit the age groups that use them.

Kids 1st Gosforth nursery is split into 7 base rooms depending on age group and level of development and each room has direct access to large, well-equipped and challenging gardens which have been designed to suit the age groups that use them.

The nursery has been designed and built specifically to help meet the demand of quality local childcare within the vibrant and growing community of Newcastle Great Park. Equipment has been sourced from a specific company following a visit to Norway.
