Archbishop Runcie First School is the only Church of England school in the north of the city of Newcastle upon Tyne and we are proud to offer our children a high quality education in a Christian context. Archibald First School is situated in the heart of Gosforth and is part of the Gosforth Schools Trust.  We are a two form entry First School with a Nursery as part of our Early Years Unit. 

Our aim at Dinnington First School is to provide a happy, stimulating environment where children will be encouraged to co-operate wholeheartedly with other children and staff who will help them to develop fully their individual, intellectual, physical, emotional and spiritual potential.

My name is Erica and I live in Jesmond with my husband Stephen and our two children. I previously worked as a children’s nurse so have lots of experience working with children of all ages. I started childminding in April 2026.

The school is a Community Co-educational First School. The building has a large hall and adjoining dining area. We have six classrooms for Key stages 1 & 2. The Foundation Stage Unit for Nursery and Reception age children consists of three classrooms and an outside play area / outdoor classroom.

Grange First School is a community school catering for a maximum of 352 boys and girls between the ages of 3 and 9 years.

At Kenton Bar Primary School we seek to offer a stimulating, motivating and secure environment where all children and adults are valued equally. We plan to provide a broad and balanced curriculum with continuity and progression to enable every child to achieve high academic standards and live a fulfilling and healthy life style.

Ladybird Children's Nursery- Archibald is located in a separate building in Archibald First School.

We are an OFSTED registered pre-school setting with a Good outcome, based within Fawdon Community Centre offering 2 and 3 year funded places.

Mountfield is a lively and forward looking school and we are proud of our many achievements. Children and staff work tirelessly to achieve high standards in all aspects of school life.

Newcastle School for Boys is a school that caters for boys from 3-18. All of the boys who enter Early Years are part of our School community.

I am an Ofsted registered childminder and I attained my 4th 'Outstanding' grade at my last inspection which was in January 2020. I have two level 3 qualifications relating to childcare, and through training I have become an accredited childminder. I have been childminding for 22 years.

Our aim is to ensure that every child reaches their full potential.   To achieve this, we work closely with all of our families, our community partners, our Trust members and business partners. 

Plantpots Playgroup/Preschool is an Ofsted registered nursery for children aged 2-5 years. Based at the Great Park Community Centre in Gosforth.
