In this session, you’ll be introduced to the uses of labyrinths and explore how they can be used for calming relaxation, reflection, celebration, problem-solving, or simply as a way of stepping away from the busyness of everyday life.

Together we will create a small indoor labyrinth and then experience walking around it as a mindful meditation. There will also be a selection of handheld labyrinths which can be traced with your fingers while being seated instead of walking.

Unlike a maze, which is designed to trick or confuse, a labyrinth has a single winding path that leads gently to the centre and back out again, creating a simple and calming space to slow down, breathe and be present.

No previous experience is needed. Come along with comfortable clothing, an open mind and a willingness to slow down and explore. You can go at your own pace, pause whenever you need to, and simply notice what the experience brings for you.
