Antenatal classes

Join us to prepare for your baby's arrival. Our classes are free and run by midwives, Healthworks and Action For Children. You will talk about preparing for labour and birth, how to care for your baby and feeding your baby. Call 0191 282 3319 to book or find details of antenatal classes here

Midwifery

Your community midwife will support you during your pregnancy and after your baby is born. Visit the maternity page from Newcastle Hospitals to find out about your care during pregnancy, birth and beyond. You can also follow them on Facebook and Instagram

Health visitors

Your health visitor can give you advice about safe sleeping, feeding your baby, adjusting to being a new parent and much more. Find out about when your health visitor will visit you and why. You can also book or drop into a well baby clinics near you
