Education Plus NE

Education Plus NE provides specialist alternative education for children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs across the North East.

About us

We offer personalised learning through a blend of vocational activities, practical skills, and core education, helping learners build confidence, resilience, and readiness for their next steps.

How to access

Referrals can be made directly by schools or local authorities via our dedicated centre team. We work closely with families, professionals, and schools to ensure a smooth transition and ongoing support tailored to individual needs.

How we deliver

Our small group settings provide a safe and nurturing environment. Learners study core subjects alongside practical activities such as construction, cooking, art and design, hair and beauty, horse riding, and sports at local leisure centres and parks. We focus on holistic development, promoting wellbeing alongside academic progress.

How we report attendance

Attendance is communicated daily to schools via email or phone to ensure timely updates and support.
