Prepped Academy

At Prepped, we provide individual private tutoring and small group tuition (maximum of four children) for all school ages and abilities - from Key Stage One to A-Level.

About us

We pride ourselves on putting our pupils’ educational enjoyment and success at the forefront of everything we do. 

We have a friendly team of tutors with a variety of teaching backgrounds. Our recruitment process means that we have confidence in their ability and approach. All tutors are DBS checked and provide parents with regular termly updates on progress so that you know how your child is getting on.

How to access

  • Initial Request from authority
  • Prepped Academy confirm via call or email they can offer provision for the student
  • The Authority completes provided Prepped Academy Referral form
  • Prepped Academy complete Authority’s POF (Provider Offer Form) or alternative as requested
  • Pre-admission meetings as applicable 
  • Prepped Academy’s provision offer taken to Panel
  • Authority confirm Prepped Academy’s Provision panel approval
  • Prepped Academy make direct contact with the students family / care givers to confirm provision details with them to suit the student’s needs
  • Prepped Academy commence tutoring within 2 weeks (unless there are specific reasons for an alternative lead time)

How we deliver

Prepped Academy provides 1:1 and small group tutoring for students from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 5, in all subjects. Lessons are provided by experienced, qualified tutors either online or in professional, comfortable facilities at various venues across Suffolk. Prepped Academy has extensive experience working with students of all abilities and those with additional needs (e.g. ASD, ADHD, dyslexia, dyscalculia, Irlens). 

Prepped has supported EHCP applications, 11+ entries and COVID catch up. Alongside its psychology team, Prepped has developed a six-week workshop programme to support children with anxiety. 

Prepped works with children who struggle to attend school regularly by helping them to re-engage with education in a positive way. 

Staffing – 1:1 and small groups (up to four students.) 

Accreditations – All subjects and all key stages Programme outcome – For students to enjoy learning and achieve to their full potential.
