Cheviot Primary School

Cheviot is a happy school where taking responsibility for ourselves and other people and working hard to achieve our best is what we do every day! Our ethos of care and humour coupled with fantastic progress and attainment is our recipe for success.

We are part of SMART Academies, working in collaboration with 7 other schools -Farne Primary, Mountfield Primary, Kenton Bar Primary, Stocksfield Avenue Primary, Wyndham Primary, Kingston Park Primary and North Fawdon Primary. We share many exciting events and staff share professional development sessions together to ensure the highest possible standards for our children. Our partners are Northumbria University, John Lewis and Newcastle Airport, representatives from each of these businesses sit as Directors on our board.

Cheviot is a forward-thinking school which has experienced rapid improvement. This is down to a superb team of staff, Governors, children, parents and a supportive local community who all want to work together, have fun together and achieve together.
