St John Vianney Catholic Primary School, West Denton

Every child in our school community is respected as a unique individual. In partnership with parents we aim to build upon and develop a wealth of experience and skills in the hope of creating a caring and stimulating environment, which lays the foundations of each and every child’s education. We seek to recognise their entitlement to a broad, balanced, differentiated and enriched curriculum.

St. John Vianney Catholic Primary School was opened in 1975. The school serves the Catholic community of St. John Vianney Parish.

The school stands in its own fairly extensive grounds, which currently incorporate two external demountable classrooms and a purpose built Nursery attached to the existing main building.

Our school has a reputation for offering children an excellent education in a stable and ordered environment

At the heart of the school is our Mission Statement. It is the foundation that supports all that we do.

When the children leave St. John Vianney School, we would want them to have experienced a quality education, which has broadened their horizons, developed their all round potential and given them insight that education is an enjoyable lifelong process.
