St Johns Primary School

St John’s is a school at the heart of the community of South Benwell, Newcastle where every child is encouraged to achieve their very best. Children here make good progress and leave us well equipped to succeed in their secondary education. Our school has grown significantly in recent years and has an excellent reputation in the local area.

Everyone at St John’s is proud to be a part of our school. This is a happy, vibrant place to learn – we aim to give children the skills for life and a wealth of memorable experiences. Our children tell us that learning here is fun, that behaviour is good and that they feel safe. Everyone who visits our school comments on the positive atmosphere; the polite, friendly and smiling children and the welcoming and engaging staff. We all work hard and our children make better than expected progress, but we have fun and enjoy what we do. We passionately believe that primary school should be the best years of your life – we want it to be so for all of our children.
