Stocksfield Avenue Primary School

Stocksfield Avenue Primary School caters for children age 4 to 11 years. We also have a Nursery, which provides part-time places for children aged 3 +.

The school has occupied its present site since 1957, but in September 2008 the school moved into a brand new building, purpose built for the 21st century.

Modern, stylish and spacious, the new school offers excellent facilities to all pupils:

  • Classrooms are bright and airy, all with ICT capability.
  • The multi-purpose hall provides opportunities for all aspects of PE and is linked to the Music and Drama room, which doubles as a stunning performance space.
  • The ICT suite, with 32 computers, enables pupils to learn discrete computing skills as well as enriching other subjects, while sets of I-pads offer further potential for teaching and learning.
  • Two well resourced libraries, one of which is situated next to the ICT suite, extend opportunities for multi media studies.
  • Extensive grounds focus on outdoor learning and play a major role in developing Science, PE, Play and the Arts
