Great North Museum: Hancock

This museum has amazing exhibits about dinosaurs, Egyptian mummies, and Hadrian's Wall. You can ask for sensory support bags, wheelchair lap trays, and other helpful items.

Discovery Museum

Discover impressive displays about science, industry, and our local history. Large open spaces and lift access makes it great for wheelchair users. You can watch the above video to learn more about the museum.

Life Science Centre

Learn about science whilst having fun. It is filled with interactive exhibits and amazing facts. Relaxed Sundays are perfect for children or young people with sensory needs.
