We are a 104 place local authority nursery school. We also have a two year old unit, All2gether@Ashfield, offering 15 hours funded places for 2 year old term time only.

Atkinson Road is a popular, thriving and vibrant school. We are situated in the heart of the west end of Newcastle and have been serving our community for over a century.

Bridgewater is a growing, vibrant 0-11 school in the heart of Scotswood, with panoramic views across the Tyne Valley.

Broadwood Primary School is a wonderfully unique school. Our welcoming, caring and positive ethos is commented on by children, staff, parents/carers and visitors.

Byker Primary School is a welcoming, friendly school set inside the Byker wall, in the East end of Newcastle-upon-Tyne.

Canning Street is a unique school situated in the inner-west of Newcastle and draws children from Benwell, Elswick and West City. Our vibrant, modern school is at the heart of the local community and is often referred to as being “an oasis”. 

We provide a wide range of activities, giving children opportunities to explore and develop skills using both indoor and outdoor environments.  We are a well equipped nursery that offers children scope and space to become independent while enjoying the knowledge that they are safe, valued and listened to.

We offer a child led based curriculum including music and movement, arts and crafts and have a holistic approach to learning. We offer outdoor activities at all times of the day in our large safely enclosed outdoor areas. Although we are close to the city centre we are located on the edge of the town moor where the children can see cows and horses daily.

We believe that working in partnership with families, involving them in children’s learning, is a strength of our school.  The school has had a strong tradition of working with families for over 120 years.

Excelsior Academy opened in 2008 and has since become Newcastle’s most improved secondary school, consistently judged as good by Ofsted. Hotspur is a primary school for children aged 3 - 11 years old.

Little Learners (NE) are an OFSTED registered setting in The Blakelaw Centre which opened in September 2019 following the success of our preschool in Fawdon.
