The Cedars Nursery was first opened in 2002, and in that time we have created a warm and welcoming environment where our children can thrive and be enthusiastic about their own learning and development.
Our aim is to give each child the love, care and opportunity needed for the best start in life.
We do this through recognising that each child is unique – a competent learner from birth, who can be resilient, capable, confident and self-assured, providing the perfect foundation ready for their next journey to school.

The Lavender Tiney Home offers nurturing, home-from-home childcare for children aged 9 months to 5 years.
At Thriving childminding l provide a safe and warm environment, where children can learn, play and grow. The activities includes early years learning, outdoor play, visit to local parks, museum and library

We are featured on the blue light system, offering 15% for defence and NHS
3 nutritious meals are included, multi sports programme, drama activities too.

Parents can book additional care around HAF hours for £6ph.
We also offer a standard rate of £40 per day for those who do not qualify for HAF between the hours of 8am-5pm.
Early start and late pick up can be added additional costs.
Situated in Jesmond, Tynemouth Nursery at Jesmond offers exceptional care to babies and children aged from six weeks to five years. With four main base rooms and an enclosed large outdoor area our highly qualified staff team provide quality care and education for all of the children in their care.
