Childcare and Early Education Providers

We provide care and learning in a safe stimulating environment, following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Part-time and full-time places available to suit your needs.  We offer 2 year and 3 year funded places.

Bright Beginnings is a family run, Ofsted registered setting. We provide high quality care for children aged between 6 weeks to 5 years. Offering full and half day sessions and 2,3 & 4 year old funded places.

Bright Minds Nursery @ Kenton School has a vibrant atmosphere, a child directed environment and a huge range of activities that children can choose to play. Children are happy and have a say in the way in which the setting is run. 

We provide a wide range of activities, giving children opportunities to explore and develop skills using both indoor and outdoor environments.  We are a well equipped nursery that offers children scope and space to become independent while enjoying the knowledge that they are safe, valued and listened to.

We offer a child led based curriculum including music and movement, arts and crafts and have a holistic approach to learning. We offer outdoor activities at all times of the day in our large safely enclosed outdoor areas. Although we are close to the city centre we are located on the edge of the town moor where the children can see cows and horses daily.

A range of activities are provided to stimulate progress in all areas of development working to the principle of the Early Years Foundation Stage. Activities are child led and based on their interests and ideas

We cater for children 0-5 years. We follow the EYFS curriculum which is a mix of child initiated and adult led activities. We provide a wide variety of activities to cater for each child’s individual needs. We place a large emphasis on outdoor play and the children can access all areas of the curriculum both outside and in. Examples of activities are all kinds of creative and messy play, water, sand gardening, cooking.

We pride ourselves on providing a nurturing and uniquely individualised approach. Our staff have bespoke training to ensure we provide the best possible care and education.

Childsplay Nursery was established in 1982 as a "not for profit" cooperative and has been working alongside families successfully ever since. 

We offer 2, 3, and 4 years funded education  as well as paid for places.

Footsteps Dolphin is an accessible, open plan early years setting, we offer full and part time places for children aged 0-5 years either morning, afternoon or full-day sessions.
