Childcare and Early Education Providers

I am an Ofsted registered childminder and I attained my 4th 'Outstanding' grade at my last inspection which was in January 2020. I have two level 3 qualifications relating to childcare, and through training I have become an accredited childminder. I have been childminding for 22 years.

Our aim is to ensure that every child reaches their full potential.   To achieve this, we work closely with all of our families, our community partners, our Trust members and business partners. 

Plantpots Playgroup/Preschool is an Ofsted registered nursery for children aged 2-5 years. Based at the Great Park Community Centre in Gosforth.

My name is Rachel. I live in NE3 with my husband and two children. I offer childcare services in this area. I offer term time only childcare, but holiday cover can be discussed. I also take non-funded children as well as funded and can be paid through tax free childcare.

We are a larger than average first school. We take children from Nursery to Year 4. We have approximately 320 children on roll and 51 members of staff.

We have a well resourced main room which houses all our resources ie small world toys, building blocks, large/ small cars, garages, castles, dolls houses, chalk boards, a large range of arts and crafts material and equipment, jigsaws for varying ages and abilities, musical instruments, home corner, library area, computer area and changing area.

We are very proud of our highly successful school, our pupils and their success. We believe that St. Cuthbert’s is a very special place and the relationship we develop with our children and their families enables us to create our distinctive ethos.

Free play where children choose from several activities. Healthy snack time. Song time. Physical activity time. Story time. Circle time. Indoor and outdoor play. Computer room. Gardening.

Early Years at Westfield has a welcoming and creative atmosphere and there is a constant buzz of purposeful activity. We aim to broaden the children's experience, excite their curiosity, encourage their individuality and provide opportunities for them to develop happily in all areas.

This pre-school playgroup opened in February 2015 for children from 2 years to school age.

Wyndham Primary School is rated by Ofsted as a good school with some outstanding features.
