Hello, I’m Annie and I am a Ofsted registered childminder based in Throckley.

I am a childcare provider in West Denton. I care for children aged from 1 year to 4 years. We enjoy lots of indoor and outdoor activities.

Your child will receive high quality care in a home from home environment led by myself; a qualified teacher with extensive Early Years experience.

I am an Ofsted registered childminder and have been graded a "good". I offer a loving environment for your children as I would for my own. I am level 5 qualified in working with children and young people.

I offer a warm, nurturing, and home-from-home childcare service. Children feel safe, valued, and supported to thrive. My setting provides high-quality care in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). I support children’s learning and development through a balance of activities and child-led play.

At Laura’s Childcare, I aim to provide a high quality, flexible childcare service that meets the needs of families in a fair and transparent way.

I provide a fun and friendly environment from my home in Chapel House for your littlies to learn through play. Various activities structured throughout the day with visits to local groups.

Our home-based childcare setting offers a nurturing, family-centred environment where children feel safe, valued and excited to learn. We follow the EYFS framework and meet all Ofsted requirements, ensuring high-quality care that supports each child's individual development.

I have been childminding for 16 years and work from home, we attend toddler groups, soft play sessions, education visits to museums and parks.  I have a wide range of toys and games in the home.

My setting benefits from a large, secure garden that provides excellent opportunities for outdoor play, physical development, and learning through nature. Children have access to a variety of age-appropriate resources and activities both indoors and outdoors, including creative play, sensory experiences, gardening, and active games. I promote learning through play and encourage children to develop independence, social skills, and a love of discovery while enjoying fresh air and outdoor experiences every day.
