The North East and Yorkshire Regional Mental Health Team are hosting a free online ARFID information session on Microsoft Teams with an experienced panel of multi-disciplinary professionals including a Speech and Language Therapist, Occupational Therapist, and Dietitian.

This session will focus on children and young people, and is for parents, carers and family wanting to find out more about ARFID. Professionals are also welcome to attend.

Please note: the session will be based on generic ARFID themes submitted in advance and will not include an opportunity for Q&A on the day or specific advice or guidance relating to individual circumstances. The session is intended to be educational and not direct clinical support.

To register, please click here. This also includes the opportunity for you to submit generic topics/themes for consideration. We kindly ask that you do not detail specific individual circumstances.

In the meantime, helpful resources are available on the CNTW here (available to all) or ARFID Awareness UK

If you experience any issues joining the session please email england.ney-mh@nhs.net.
