EMTEP Best Spring Ever 2026

EMTEP's HYPE (Helping Young People Evolve) HAF Spring 2026 programme for ages 8-16yrs provides enrichment, physical activity, alongside informal learning of healthy eating and balanced lifestyles. Hype provides both centre-based and outdoor activities. These include educational support, self-development workshops, group activities sports, team games, excursions, and trips. All is underpinned by EMTEP’s mentoring and befriending engagement with positive BAME role models.

We have a holistic approach to supporting young people providing them with a range of workshops, physical activities and recreational activities.

This is a warm, caring and kind place to be because:

• We have a quiet or calm space for young people to chill out in.
• We offer small group work / activities
• Parents / carers can contact staff to discuss individual needs
• Parents or young people can visit before the session. 

The Department of Education Holiday Activity Fund programme is to support young people aged 4-16 attending Newcastle City Councils schools that are eligible for Free Schools Meals or in need during the Easter, Summer and Christmas holidays.
