EMTEP Best Winter Ever 2025

Our HAF programme includes a mix of character-building workshops focused on moral conduct, personal development, and helping young people become positive contributors to society.

Alongside the workshops, the young people will also take part in a range of engaging activities, including:

Calligraphy

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ)

Ice skating

St James’ Park Stadium Tour

Escape Rooms

Bowling

We have a holistic approach to supporting young people providing them with a range of workshops, physical activities and recreational activities.

This is a warm, caring and kind place to be because:

• We have a quiet or calm space for young people to chill out in.
• We offer small group work / activities
• Parents / carers can contact staff to discuss individual needs
• Parents or young people can visit before the session. 

The Department of Education Holiday Activity Fund programme is to support young people aged 4-16 attending Newcastle City Councils schools that are eligible for Free Schools Meals or in need during the Easter, Summer and Christmas holidays.
