Sessions cost 20p.

This can be a noisy busy session - many parents drop off/pick up children

Many children are known to us as they have waited years 'to turn 8'. They can also be siblings or children of those we have worked with over the years. Most attend local primary schools. New members are always welcome.

There is a large hall, some outside space including swings and a nearby grass 5-Aside pitch.

Each week there is a variety of planned activities including; cooking, craft and games.
There is stand alone play equipment (connect 4, jenga, air-hockey.)
There is play equipment that can be requested to be used by children on the night. This includes; skipping ropes and hoops, bats and balls, games, stilts, pogo sticks, etc

Aims: 

  • creating a safe space for play, fun and friendship.

Focus: 

  • learning about sharing space, 
  • getting along with different people, 
  • trying new things, 
  • fairness and friendship.

Providing support for children leaving year 6 and going into year 7.

Note we do try to have a quiet space in a separate adjoining room, but this is not always possible.
Please ring and arrange a visit with staff if you/your child is interested in attending a new group.
