With great thanks to Street Games, we are delighted to be able to offer 2 FREE days of forest school in Benwell for children/young people entitled to benefit-related free school meals during the second week of the Christmas Holidays.
These sessions are for young people who receive benefit-related free school meals. These sessions are for children aged 5-12 without their grown-ups (sorry adults!) and take place at Benwell Nature Reserve from 10 am - 2 pm on the following dates:
Wednesday 31st December 2025 Friday 2nd January 2026. There is the option to book single day or for both days.
Delivered by expert practitioners with high staff ratios, this club supports children to explore the outdoors, manage their own risks, lead their own discovery, and build relationships with their peers. Access to child-led experiences in nature is proven to support good mental health and well-being.
Children who attend will take part in a range of outdoor adventures such as fire lighting, whittling, games, crafts, foraging, navigating, and more.
