Please note that this workshop will be recorded

This workshop is for parent carers of children (aged 0-25) with additional needs or disabilities (with or without a diagnosis) in the UK.

Around the time of diagnosis, parents can go through a range of emotions, including shock, denial, grief and anger. Parents can be anxious about how they are going to cope and provide the care their child needs.

This online workshop will cover:

  • understand and discuss a diagnosis you may have just received or be on the pathway to a diagnosis and need further information and advice
  • We will explain the role of professionals, what to do if you are not happy with the diagnosis and share some top tips from other families.

Visit our event page for further information and to book.
