Financial Support

The funding is for kinship families with a legal order in place.  These legal orders are: 

• a Special Guardianship Order (SGO)
• a Child Arrangements Order (CAO)
• a Residence Order (RO)

These may have been made privately or by the local authority.

You can also apply if you live in Newcastle and are in:

• private court proceedings for an SGO or CAO, and
• you’ve passed the First Hearing Dispute Resolution Appointment (FHDRA)
