Designated Clinical Officer

Dawn Robson is our Designated Clinical Officer (DCO). She helps children and young people who need extra help with learning or health.

• She listens to children, families, and people who work with them, making sure their voices are heard
• She helps make sure health services are good and work well for children with SEND.
• She helps people work together—such as educational professionals, social care and health services
• She helps answer questions about health provision in Education Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
• She helps make sure children get the right health care.
• She helps find out what services are missing and how to fix that.
• She helps make sure there is a clear plan for children from birth to age 25.
