Your voice

Our Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) services are shaped by you. That is why we want to hear from many different people including:

  • parents and carers
  • children and young people with (SEND)
  • professionals such as teachers, therapists
  • organisations and groups who help people with SEND

We strongly encourage you to share your views. It helps us understand what is working and what could be improved. And it also means we build a sense of community and shared ownership.

Parent Carer Forum

We are a group of volunteer parents and carers. We work in partnership with Newcastle City Council as well as health, education and social care providers. Our goal is to help make sure that their services meet the needs of children, young people and families.

Getting It Right Together our SEND Strategy
