Comments about our Local Offer

Our SEND Local Offer website was developed with the help of Newcastle families and professionals. We developed sections in small chunks and gathered feedback through:

• our digital consultation group (128 members including parents, carers, and professionals)
• the SEND Parent Carer Forum, and
• the Children and Families Parent Carer Panel.

At each stage, feedback was carefully considered and changes made where possible. You can see this feedback in the comments and reports on this page. 

We know our work is never finished. There will always be improvements, corrections, and helpful additions we can make.
