Children and young people told us they want more things to do, more places to go and more access to affordable activities.
Since the launch of Evry, partners responsible for major events in Newcastle have offered thousands of free tickets to children and young people across the city.
To date, 7,000 free tickets, worth over £100,000, have been distributed to Theatre Royal shows, Newcastle United Women and Men matches, Magic Weekend, Newcastle Pride, music events in Newcastle Parks, Ice Skating at Centre for Life and Northern Lights experience.
it was nice to see some of the young people who never really get involved in sport participate and enjoy themselves. The young people really enjoyed the food and loved watching NUFCW win
I think it’s important that young people get the opportunity to attend music events, so they can have fun, live life and experience new things and see new artists that they are interested in and also so they get the experience and don’t miss out and something they really want to go to
