More Information -

The mental health needs of autistic individuals are often overlooked. We may see:

  • anxiety
  • depression
  • obsessive behaviours
  • school avoidance
  • eating difficulties
  • self-harming behaviour
  • meltdowns
  • troubled peer or sibling relationships
  • other problems.

It is difficult to find help and support for these issues. This session will be an opportunity to gain an understanding of how autism and mental health are linked. We will look at ways to address these difficulties and find coping strategies to help our children improve their mental wellbeing.
