More Information -

The 1960s brought big changes to Newcastle – with people embracing new music, fashion and entertainment. On this walking tour, discover how people enjoyed the excitement of the Swinging 60s and visit some of the city’s well-known venues, including the City Hall, Majestic, and Tyne Theatre.

As this tour requires walking, please ensure you are confident and comfortable to walk and stand for 90 minutes. Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear for the weather and the walk.

Join us on Monday 10 August 2025, from 10.15am – 12noon. After booking your space, the meeting point will be shared with you closer to the time (you can make your own way there, or travel with a staff member from Byker on the Metro – carers are responsible for paying for travel to the meeting point).

Book your space by calling our Carers Information Line on 0191 275 5060 or email info@newcastlecarers.org.uk by Monday 3 August.
