This workshop is for parent carers of children aged 6-25 who have additional needs or disabilities (with or without a diagnosis) in the UK.
All children learn to use the toilet at a different stage in their life. Children with additional needs may take longer to be ready to start toilet training and learn the process.
This online workshop will cover:
- how the body works
- the importance of healthy routines
- what may impact toilet training
- how to work with professionals
- practical strategies to help children build essential skills
- guidance to help you feel confident in recognising when a child may be ready to begin
- the responsibilities of schools
- advice about bedwetting and strategies to support
There will be time for questions, discussion, and signposting to further sources of advice and support.

This workshop will be held on Zoom, it will not be recorded. You are welcome to keep your camera/audio off during the workshop if you would feel more comfortable to do so.
