Victoria Tunnel Walking Tour for carers

Listen for air-raid warnings, planes overhead, and stories from Newcastle’s residents of that time. You’ll also learn about the landmarks above you, including the rare opportunity to walk beneath Hadrian’s Roman Wall.

What to expect:

• This walking tour is 1 hour and 15 minutes.
• The tunnel is around 12 degrees centigrade year-round, and has slightly uneven and damp flooring in places, so a light washable jacket and flat shoes you don’t mind getting a bit dirty are recommended.
