Join us this summer for fun, friendship, and exciting activities designed especially for children and young people with SEND ages 11 to 18 years!
A weekly safe space for parents and carers of children with SEND. Drop in to chat, share and support each other.
A friendly group for carers of young children. There is music, things to get young ones moving and often a healthy snack.
Activity days based around the theme 'challenge'. Children aged 7-11 years will be given the opportunity to explore physical, creative and cultural challenges.
Our amazing HAF provision for 8 to 12 year olds. There are amazing activities for everyone!
Everyday we have different activities in our zones.
Active zone - including sport, hip hop dancing, inflatables, forest activities, contemporary dance, martial arts, circus skills and more.
Nourish zone - Area focused on learning to cook from scratch and learn more about food and nutrition.
Creation zone - activities such as graffiti, arts and crafts, woodwork, rock bank, DJing skills, science workshops, Ukelele workshops, singing and much more.
Our holiday club is free for children who get free school meals. Your child can enjoy:

We will also visit SafetyWorks where the children will learn new safety skills, build confidence and take part in fun activities.
For ages 8 to 13 years.
Each morning will begin at 10:00 and finish at approximately 15:00. On the days of trips the timings may be slightly different but this will be communicated well in advance.
The day is split into morning and afternoon activities. The mornings will be fun, interactive and creative activities. Such as: drones, coding, building towers, games, arts, gardening and languages.
Bring your child along for lots of fun activities. Things like; painting, playdough and pasta play!
For children aged 0 to 5 years.
A welcoming and friendly group for parents, carers, babies and young children under 5.
We will be offering a safe and welcome environment for children to attend and participate in a range of physical and educational activities.
For ages 4-12
A friendly group for carers and babies. There are lots of games to play and activities to help your baby develop (0 to 12 months).
Drop in and weigh your own baby. Please note there are staff no at this drop in. It is self service.
Lots of activities including messy play. Free snacks and juice are included.

Develop your conversational English skills for those aged 18+
We're back this Summer with our Holiday Club. Sessions are for children aged 5–12. Children attend without their grown-ups (sorry adults!). We run sessions at Benwell Nature Reserve. Sessions run from 10am to 2pm. You can book single days or multiple days. Your child can take part in: fire lighting whittling and tool use den building woodland crafts nature walks and exploring games and team activities Each day, children help prepare and cook food on the fire. This builds confidence and independence.
Engage your child's senses in this fun session. This session in for babies from birth to 12 months.

North East Dance are providing FREE Dance and Fitness Sessions for those who are in receipt of FREE school meals.

Every Tuesday and Thursday from 12 to 3 PM, we’ll provide a delicious hot meal, along with fresh fruit and water to keep everyone energized. The afternoons will be packed with fun games, engaging activities, and the chance to learn boxing skills in a friendly environment. It's a fantastic opportunity for kids to make new friends, stay active, and enjoy a summer filled with laughter and learning. Don't miss out on the fun—come and join us!

Our Summer Dance Intensive offers a week of dance, creativity and performance for children and young people. Led by professional choreographer, Michael Heatley, dancers will spend the week learning new skills. They will be creating original movement and working together to make a brand new performance piece to share with family and friends at the end of the week. Whether your young person already loves to dance, or is keen to try something new, this is a welcoming space to build confidence, make friends and be part of a creative team.
Amazing free holiday activities (Table Tennis, dancing, cycling, football, street cricket and trips to trampoline and soft play for both kids and young people) for children and young people within the African community (5-17 years old) in physical activities, enrichment activities and serve free meals to all.
