Foundation Futures

Since 2014 we have provided positive outcomes for CYP those who struggle in mainstream education, including those who present with challenging behaviour, are EBSNA or SEND, SEMH, developmental needs or are neurodivergent and/or have significant ACE).

About us

Our therapeutic programmes are tailored to the individuals taking part. We have 4 specific groups of 8 young people, one day per week (12+ weeks) Target Groups: (or those who identify as such)

  • Boys: (Year 7-9): with behaviours such as dysregulation, disruption, risk-taking. Lower levels of learning, disengaged with education, face challenges at home/ in peer groups.
  • Girls: (Year 7-9): display disruptive or withdrawn behaviour, dysregulation, difficulties in maintaining healthy relationships (and/or above)
  • Boys & Girls (Year7-9): those who experience anxiety, low confidence, poor attendance, social isolation needing a slower, more nurturing setting.
  • Boys / Girls (Year 10/11): those disengaged or struggling in education, attendance issues or emotional/development needs. Some may not attend any form of education. 

Our team are training in trauma and relational approaches.

For schools booking more than 4 or more spaces across a full academic year we provide staff follow-up visits in school/on-going to support reintegration, managing ongoing challenges, building on skills and progress. Responsive tailored support for individuals, working together with school staff.

How to access

Schools / other statutory bodies need to complete a referral form, sending any additional, relevant information. Pre-programme meetings with young people in school or home visits.

How we deliver

1 day per week for 12+ weeks: pick up and drop off from homes.

How we report attendance:

Reported daily when pick ups are complete.
