You could get help to pay for:
| NHS Low Income Scheme (LIS) | If you have a low income, you may be able to get help with NHS costs through the NHS Low Income Scheme (LIS). |
| Help with health costs for people getting universal credit | If you receive Universal Credit, you may also qualify for help with health costs. |
| NHS wigs and fabric supports costs | Some people can get free wigs and fabric support. |
| Healthcare Travel Costs Scheme (HTCS) | This gives refunds for travel costs to certain people getting treatment. |
| Disabled Facilities Grant | Grant to help disables people live independently in their homes. An Occupational Therapist will assess your needs. |
| A personal health budget (including wheelchair budget) | An amount of NHS money that is allocated to support your health and wellbeing needs. |
| NHS continuing healthcare and continuing care package | Some people with long-term complex health needs can get free health and social care. |
| Section 117 aftercare | This is available to people who have been in hospital because of their mental health. It can help with specialist housing, education, and offer free prescriptions for mental health medication. |
