SEND Outreach Service

As a service, we:

  • support children to take part in learning and make progress in their school or setting
  • work with schools and settings to understand a child’s needs
  • give advice and training to staff so they can put the right support in place for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

The links below give you more information about each team in our service.

Sometimes a school or early years setting might need more help supporting a student. The services below can give this advice and support. Schools can request their support by completing this online form which is considered by our SEND Advice Support and Allocation Panel (ASAP).

You can learn more by visiting the Outreach Service - Services to Schools page
