SEND Outreach Service

As a service, we:

support children to take part in learning and make progress in their school or setting
work with schools and settings to understand a child’s needs
give advice and training to staff so they can put the right support in place for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

SEND Outreach Service - Early Years

We support children in early years settings as well as train and advise staff, parents and carers.

SEND Outreach Service - Cognition and Learning Team

We work in partnership with schools, parents and other professionals to support students with Specific Learning Difficulties and wider generalised needs.

SEND Outreach Service - SEMH Specialist Nursery Nurses

We help children in reception and key stage one with Social Emotional and Mental Health Needs.

SEND Outreach Service - Specific Learning Difficulties Team

We support students with dyslexia and dyscalculia as well as train schools and staff.

SEND Outreach Service- Developmental Language Disorder Team

We support children who have a diagnosis of Developmental Language Disorder and/or Speech Sound Disorder (SSD). We can also give information and support to schools and parents.
