Top tips for Dads

Dads and male carers, can't always make it to every pregnancy or post-birth appointment? Wondering what gets discussed? We have you covered with all the key information.

After your baby is born and throughout their childhood, there's loads of support available for you at your Best Start in Life Family Hub.

Throughout these pages we will use the term ‘Dad’. We know that families come in all shapes and sizes.  These top tips will be helpful for grandads, uncles, stepdads, or any male caring for a child.

We also use the term ‘your partner’ to refer to the parent who is giving birth. We know this might not be someone you are in a romantic relationship with.
