Appeals and complaints
Learners or parents/carers who wish to challenge a decision about post‑16 SEND transport may appeal in writing, setting out the reasons and any additional evidence. Appeals are considered in line with statutory guidance, and outcomes are communicated within published timescales. Appeals are considered:
- without fettering discretion (which means we will consider consider the unique facts of an individual case)
- and do not create precedent (which means that there does not need to be a new rule that has to be followed)
