Folk Band is a mixed instrumental ensemble designed for young people aged 7-13. Whether you know just three or four notes on your instrument, or you are an experienced player, you will enjoy working together to create some energetic arrangements of famous folk tunes.
During rehearsals, you will have the opportunity to develop your musicianship further with plenty of opportunity to explore sight reading and ensemble skills. Students are given sheet music for their own parts to take home and practice.
We offer friendly, open sessions. You can come along and join in. You will feel welcome here. We provide healthy food each day. You can enjoy meals with friends. It is all free for you. We create a safe, welcoming space. You can relax and be yourself. We are here to support you. A supervised youth club for teenagers aged 13 to 17.
Many children are known to us as they have waited years 'to turn 8'. They can also be siblings or children of those we have worked with over the years. Most attend local primary schools. New members are always welcome.
We run a fun relaxed Easter Girls Group for girls aged 11 - 16 years where,

We offer a free camp for children entitled to means tested free school meals. We deliver a range of activities including Arts & Crafts, Dance, Fitness, Board Games and more. We offer a free hot meal and ask that children bring their own water bottle.
