Mainstream schools and early years settings have resources, knowledge, and experience to help most students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). However, more specialist advice, guidance and support may be needed for some students. This can be requested via the SEND Advice, Support and Allocation Panel (ASAP).
Services available via SEND ASAP includes:
- SEND Outreach Service including:
- Newcastle Educational Psychology Service
- Individual Pupil Support Funding
Please note, there will be a charge to private and independent schools wishing to access services through SEN ASAP.
Mainstream educational settings can complete our online form to request support from the services listed above via SEND ASAP.
