Newcastle SEND Advice and Support Allocation Panel (SEND ASAP)

Mainstream schools and early years settings have resources, knowledge, and experience to help most students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). However, more specialist advice, guidance and support may be needed for some students. Schools and settings can request this from our SEND Advice, Support and Allocation Panel (ASAP). 

Services available via SEND ASAP includes:

• SEND Outreach Service including: 
  • Early Years
  • Cognition and Learning Team
  • Social Emotional and Mental Health
  • Specific Learning Difficulties Team
  • Developmental Language Disorder Team
  • Communication and Interaction Team
• Newcastle Educational Psychology Service
• Individual Pupil Support Funding

Please note, there will be a charge to private and independent schools wishing to access services through SEN ASAP.
