Responsibilities
Parents must:
- ensure attendance at all provision
- maintain vaccinations via General Practitioner (GP) and 0 to 19 service
- provide a suitable workspace for home tuition
- quickly report concerns
- support return to mainstream school or setting when appropriate
- carry out safeguarding checks for non‑framework providers
Newcastle City Council must:
- commission high‑quality provision
- deliver safe and well checks
- review invoices and audit spending
- monitor progress via reports
- provide timely panel decisions
- recover misused or unspent funds
- consult with schools for reintegration
