Discover a wide range of activities and events happening across Newcastle — from one-off workshops to regular weekly sessions. Click on any event to find out more details and how to book your place.

We offer a range of offsite activities including: swimming, trampolining, horse-riding, parks, assault courses. We provide a nutritious packed lunch with fresh ingredients. We use a mini bus to transport children and young people to the activity.
These sessions are open to young people from 8 - 18 years who are already current users of the project.
Open door access to youth workers and facilities.
Come join in the holiday fun with us at Denton Youth & Community Project. We have a range of fun activities for ages 7-16. Yummy food will be provided at all sessions.

Come along and get moving in a fun supportive environment. Enjoy this inclusive seated dance class for all abilities. Everyone is welcome including those with multiple sclerosis. These sessions are led and taught by Hildy Harland every Monday at 12:30. They take place in the Tesco Community Room at Tesco Extra in Kingston Park. Baby massage is a lovely way to enjoy time, and bond with your baby. It can help with colic, teething, and circulation.

We are running four sessions all SEND appropriate, two Circus training sessions on 09/04/26, one Beat Box and break dancing session on 13/04/26 and a rave with bouncy castle, disco and entertainer on 17/04/26.

The Department of Education Holiday Activity Fund programme is to support young people aged 4-16 attending Newcastle City Councils schools that are eligible for Free Schools Meals or in need during the Easter, Summer and Christmas holidays.

Early Words Together aims to support the communication, language, and early literacy of young children age 3 to 4 through evidence-based activities.
A fun sport and social activity session for adults with a disability and additional needs.
These free sessions are for people with a learning disability and autistic people aged 18+.

The djembe, a wooden hand drum, is one of West Africa’s best known instruments. Whether you’re a complete beginner or have tried some djembe drumming workshops in school, our djembe drumming group will develop valuable musicianship through listening, learning and playing together as part of a group.
It’s a fantastic opportunity to make music together and meet new friends from other schools.
