Banned Items

If a banned item is suspected to on transport staff will inform the SEND Transport Team immediately for advice. This could result in police being contacted and transport suspended until further investigation. Banned items include: 

• Knives and weapons.
• Alcohol, tobacco and Illegal drugs (including e-cigarettes and vapes) and drug paraphernalia.
• Stolen items. 
• Fireworks, lighters, matches etc. 
• Pornographic images.
• Any article that the member of staff reasonably suspects has been or is likely to be used: 
  • to commit an offence
  • to cause personal injury to any person, including the student themselves
  • or to damage the property of any person, including the student themselves.
